Senior Competitive Rowing Programs

The goal of the Senior Competitive Rowing Program at Leander Boat Club is to elevate athletes to the highest level of competition. We designed the program with students and full-time workers in mind, with rigorous and highly-structured training sessions that optimize athletic progress within the time invested.

Our Senior Competitive Rowing Program teaches athletes how to fine tune their rowing training, track racing progress, analyze performance, and how to adapt training routines to meet specific goals. Through training and development programs, senior-level rowers are pushed to meet provincial carding standards, earn spots on Canadian University teams, and to reach the Canadian National Team.

We focus our program on racing opportunities in southern Ontario, including the Central Ontario Rowing Association circuit, as well as provincial rowing championships, and the Henley. There is a strong emphasis on teamwork and developing crews that stick together so they can target international regattas.
